Our standards

Editorial policy

How we research, write, correct, and distinguish independent reporting from commercial information.

Research and verification

We open source pages, prefer primary evidence, retain exact publication timing, and distinguish a news report from the event it describes. Search snippets are discovery aids, not evidence.

Originality

Every published story must add clear editorial value through explanation, synthesis, reporting, or practical context. We do not reproduce press releases as finished articles.

Attribution and uncertainty

Company-reported data, commissioned surveys, promotional specifications, and projections remain attributed. If an opening, launch, or outcome is planned rather than complete, the language says so.

Health and money

Wellness and financial stories are general information, not personal medical or financial advice. High-consequence claims require careful sourcing and clear limitations.

Images and visual stories

We use first-party or properly managed visuals, meaningful alt text, captions, transcripts, and clear chaptering. We do not invent customer reviews or ratings.

Corrections

Substantive corrections are re-verified, dated, and explained where they materially change a reader's understanding.
