User and submission policy

The rules for reading, searching, subscribing, contacting the journal, and sending material responsibly.

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Scope and current services

This policy covers public reading, site search, newsletter signup, and messages sent through the contact form. The current website does not provide public accounts, profiles, comments, purchases, paid links, or a visitor-upload area. Sending a message does not guarantee a reply, publication, investigation, credit, or removal of disputed material.

Acceptable use

You may read, search, subscribe, share links to internal pages, send a genuine correction, raise a rights or accessibility concern, suggest a relevant story, or make a lawful general enquiry. Information you choose to submit should be accurate to the best of your knowledge and limited to what is reasonably needed for the request.

Prohibited conduct and messages

Do not use the website to send threats, harassment, hateful or discriminatory abuse, impersonation, fraud, spam, malware, phishing, unlawful sexual material, child sexual-abuse material, private intimate material shared without consent, instructions intended to facilitate serious wrongdoing, or content that unlawfully infringes privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trademark, or another person’s rights.

Do not attempt to bypass security, overload the service, interfere with another reader, scrape at a harmful rate, test systems without permission, or use the newsletter and contact forms for bulk promotion. Good-faith criticism, a correction request, or a lawful rights complaint is not prohibited merely because it disagrees with the journal.

Sensitive and urgent information

The contact form is not a confidential-source system, emergency service, legal-notice portal, medical consultation, investment-support channel, or secure place for passwords, payment-card data, financial credentials, identity documents, medical records, or confidential business material. For an immediate danger or emergency in India, contact the appropriate emergency service, including 112 where available, rather than waiting for a journal response.

Messages, tips, and publication permission

A submitted tip or claim is a lead, not verified fact. We may check it, seek context, request supporting evidence, redact unnecessary personal information, decline it, preserve it when reasonably necessary for safety or legal review, or route it to the appropriate internal reviewer.

You keep ownership of material you lawfully own. Merely sending text or media does not transfer ownership or grant the journal a broad public licence. If we wish to publish or materially adapt a reader’s original submission, we will seek separate permission covering the intended use, attribution, and edits.

Corrections, privacy, copyright, and rights complaints

A useful correction request identifies the internal page, the precise statement, the reason it may be wrong, and supporting evidence. A copyright complaint should identify the claimant, the protected work, the material and page in question, the rights basis, and a good-faith explanation. Privacy requests should provide enough information to locate the relevant record without sending unnecessary identity documents.

We review credible requests rather than promising automatic removal or acceptance. Material factual errors are handled under the editorial policy; personal information is handled under the privacy policy.

Children and vulnerable people

The site is not designed to collect personal information from children through its newsletter or contact form. A person under 18 should use those features only with a parent or lawful guardian. Do not submit a child’s full address, school, precise location, image, medical details, or other identifying information unless it is necessary, lawful, and appropriately authorised.

Accessibility

We aim to provide semantic headings, keyboard access, labelled forms, visible focus, readable contrast, meaningful alternative text, responsive layouts, and written context for visual stories. Accessibility feedback may be submitted through the contact page. We will assess genuine barriers, but we do not promise that every format or older page will be immediately free of every accessibility issue.

Security and service limits

We use reasonable operational safeguards, including HTTPS, server-side validation, restricted configuration, a private application listener, and controlled database access. No online service can promise absolute security or uninterrupted availability. Readers must not attempt to access restricted systems or use the public forms to report an urgent vulnerability containing exploit code or confidential credentials.

Review, restriction, and changes

We may filter abusive or harmful submissions, restrict access that threatens the service, preserve necessary evidence, and update this policy when the product or legal context changes. These decisions do not remove rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions may be submitted through the contact page or sent to info@lifestylesjournal.com.
